June 2023 was the Completion date of a new leisure entertainment development in Burnley Town Centre.

 New build 7 screen cinema for REEL cinemas, with a separate tier of 5 restaurant/café bar operators.

The cinema was provided as a Developers “warm” Shell, for REEL to complete the fit out.

External surface level car park and paved Public Realm blends into the existing Town Centre.

This was a Brownfield Development site

D&J have acted as Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent on this £11.2m development.

Conversion of 6,000sq m of existing leisure designated space to discount stores anchored by the Inditex group, owners of the Zara brand, and Replay. The project was carried out whilst keeping the centre fully operational. The project was completed in November 2005 and was completed on time and on budget.

Deacon and Jones worked with ING Real Estate and Premier Developments on this 12,000 sq m mixed use development in Guernsey. Comprising of 5,608 sq m of offices and 45 residential units we provided PM/EA and QS services on the overall development.

Mixed use town centre redevelopment comprising construction of a Morrisons supermarket, 91 bed hotel, cinema, restaurants and car parking.

Phased refurbishment of existing retail park.

£9m mixed use scheme comprising cinema, restaurants, hard and soft landscaping and highways alterations.

New build construction on the site of a former multi-storey car park and health centre to form a Morrisons Supermarket (78,000 sq ft) with Petrol Filling Station, Cine-UK 7 Auditoria Multiplex Cinema, Travelodge 91 Bedroom Hotel, eight food outlets comprising Mimosa, Frankie & Benny’s, Prezzo, Nando’s, Pizza Express, Toby Carvery, Harvester and Subway. Car parking for over 500 cars located below structural slab level.
