Ghana Hospitals

April 2016 saw the presidential opening of the first of 6 District Hospitals in Ghana built for the Ministry of Health.

Each Hospital provides:

  • A Main Clinical Hub building
  • A Maternity Ward
  • A Male Ward
  • A Female Ward
  • A Paediatric Ward
  • A Public Health and Traditional Medicine building
  • 22 Nr residential accommodation units for Doctors and Nurses
  • Various support services buildings

Deacon and Jones provided strategic construction consultancy and QS advice at feasibility stages through to turn key completion.

The first complete site is at Dodowa.

Following sites will be at:

  • Fomena
  • Kumawu
  • Abetifi
  • Sekondi
  • Garu
